Damage Claim Policy

At Amish Handcrafted Nautical Décor, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and careful packaging of every product we ship. Each item is inspected before leaving our workshop. In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or defective, we will work promptly to make it right.

We gladly replace or accept returns for items that are damaged in transit or defective in workmanship or materials, subject to the guidelines below.


1. Timeframe for Claims

  • Visible shipping damage:
    Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery. Claims for visible shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Concealed damage or defects:
    Claims for concealed damage or workmanship defects must be submitted within 10 business days of delivery.

Timely reporting allows us to process claims efficiently with the shipping carrier and manufacturer.


2. Contact Us Right Away

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible so we can begin the claim process. We may request clear photos of the damaged item and its packaging, including the shipping carton and any protective materials.

3. Important Notes

  • Please retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved, as carriers may require inspection.

  • Damage claims reported outside the timeframes listed above may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

  • This policy applies only to damage or defects and does not override our Refund & Cancellation Policy for custom or oversized items.
